Knobs

Welcome Instapundit readers. I must say... this is my most embarrassing Instalanche ever. Go to my main page here, for [cough, cough] less goofy photography.

It's a radio... pure and simple. A novelty radio. I saw this thing at the Barber Shop. Usually I post a series of shots from the Barber Shop, but this time I didn't get that much... just the "stand up haircut" and this.

Does it come in a wooden crate, marked Frah-Gee-Lay?

Rick Lee said...

Hehe... must come from Italy cause it says frah-gee-lay! I'll have to check whe speaker is next time I'm in there. I've seen the thing in there for ages but I've never bothered to see if it works. I suppose I'll have to now.

I always feel a nearly teary-eyed affection for my fellow man when I read comments like these:

"Wow, must be COLD!"

and

"These go to 11."

It just doesn't GET any more classic.

I think I read about this being the future of genetic engineering in
An Army of Davids
. I just hope this isn't how those computerized heart monitoring implants look.

Can you tune to Hugh Hewitt on that?

Rick Lee said...

AST... oh gosh, I just had some terrible jokes pop into my head about Dr Helen and Sharon Lyn. (heart defib and pacemaker, respectively) Shame on you for planting those thoughts. :-)

I've GOT to get me one of those. Great radio.
