Wow. That first shot is wonderful. There's so many great qualities in that image -- the lines, color, texture. Is that last shot a blackberry? Mmmm. I've been snacking on them all week from a patch in my front yard.

Yeah, I think I might go back and shoot that rose again in different light. It was really late in the day when I shot that and there was barely enough light to get it. I think it's a blackberry. These things are scattered all over the place around here, but I've never run across patch with enough to bother picking. Do the deer eat them?

Do deer eat blackberries? That's a good question. According to ask.com, they do. But, I've been living here in the woods for a year and have never seen them snacking on them. Also, you don't need to re-shoot that rose. It's perfect.
