what is that top shot of exactly? It looks like a steering wheel with a fan coming out of it.... Is it some part of the engine?
In the days before air conditioning, it wasn't that uncommon for cars (this is a pickup truck btw) to have a fan in the interior. That's all it is. It's a steering wheel with a fan attached to it.
These are really interesting. Old cars, and pickups, make really nice subjects.
Stop me if anyone's mentioned this before -- but you're a good photographer.
