Hi Dave... that's a really cool composition, but I wouldn't call it a macro shot. I'm not sure if there's an accepted definition of macro, but I'd say something where the subject is less than a few inches across.
I guess you'd call that a "detail" shot, but not a macro shot.
Back to the drawing board...:-)
Rick, I have a little brown jug with a corn cob in it, just like that one. Been years since I thought about the Great Gildersleeve - he was funny.
