Sad to say, but I grew up near Street Road in Warminster, PA. I always wondered why anyone would name something with such a dumb name. Years later we were in Maryland, and there was Street Road again (probably that one). Just idiotic.
I have to assume it named for somebody whose last name was Street. That's the only plausible explanation I can come up with.
