Some of my favorite photos from an Alaska trip are in weather just like you are dealing with - sometimes the contrast between nearly-black clouds and the barely-visible sheen on the water can be terrific.
Nicole... dang, I shot some produce in Seattle that I was saving for Thursday but then I forgot about it.
TP, yeah, there are some great shots to get when it's not sunny, but it seems like more work doesn't it? I was wishing that I had a little more "misty, foggy" going but it was mostly just low-hanging overcast.
Pete... I shot some produce at Pike Place Market a few days ago, but I forgot to post them. I think it's probably best that the 100th edition wasn't something just fudged together like that. I'll try to do something special next week.

Wow! That second shot really feels as if we are up in the air with the birds! Very nice!
When I take photos of sea gulls, they blink. I'm serious. And they move too damned fast to get a decent shot. You pros must go to timing school.
Richard... for an explanation of how I shoot the birds, click here.
