How about that?

Beautiful! Imagine how beautiful the rest of her face is, too.

You've done this before, Rick, so I may have made the same observation above and this suggestion: An idea for another series?

I say yes.

Oh wow!! That's all I have to say.

When I took art classes, we had to do a self portrait in pastels. I just did one of my eyes up close, and it is amazing how many different colors are present in the eye, other than the dominant color. I had never really noticed before.

"An idea for another series? " I'm not sure what you mean by that... did you click on the tag "eye"? It's pretty interesting what you'll see.

Beautiful, as always. :)

Looking at Nicole's comment, I once did a drawing of one of my eyes as well. I had to draw exactly what I saw and my eyes are such a deep, dark brown that I didn't have much of anything other than a giant black circle! It would be interesting to see how they'd look with Rick's camera!

Most people's irises are pretty dark I think. Whenever I see an eye with a really light-colored iris and plenty of color in it, that's when I start thinking about photographing it.

I think I might try some variation of this. Over this coming weekend, all 6 of our kids will be here and they all but one as well and my husband and I, have pale ocean blue eyes. The odd ball has green eyes. I might just line them all up and see what I can come up with.
