Mystery #86

This is a different kind of mystery photo. Do you know who this is? She was world famous for a brief period. She was parodied on Saturday Night Live. I received a phone call from an editor at Paris Match Magazine about this photo. They would have published it, but 9-11 happened and all of a sudden nobody was interested in this woman any longer. Post your guesses in the comments!

Based on the photo and the timing, I guess it to be Brigitte Boisselier... the human cloning proponent who was abducted by aliens, formed a cult, etc, etc.

Rick, I know this is not fair because you showed me this series of shots and told me the whole story. It is, of course, Brigitte Boisselier, Raelian nut-job and head of Clonaid, the company to which attorney Mark Hunt provided funding to set up a lab in an abandoned school building in Nitro so they could clone his dead 10-month old son. They got ran out of Nitro, of course, and Boisselier later popped up on the news claiming that they had cloned the first human child, a girl named, what else?...Eve! Does this earn me the medal? :-)

OK... Chris and Dale got it. You guys guessed it a lot sooner than I thought would happen. Most people have forgotten all about that incident. If you go to the Clonaid web site (www.clonaid.com), almost all of the photos on the site were taken by me at the long-since-defunct Nitro, WV lab. When I shot the lab, I was completely in the dark about what they were doing down there. It had not yet hit the news.
