I've got a nice shot posted on my blog that I took yesterday evening in Nitro. Nice shot by the way!

Yes! I saw your shot. It was a good evening for a sunset.

Yeah, we get those sometimes.... I have been making sure to have my camera with me.. Just never know when it's going to hit, and they usually don't last very long. A few nights ago, the sky was incredibly red, but I was out getting supper at the local fast food joint, and forgot to bring my camera along.. By the time I got back, it was over.. :(

I've seen sunsets in a lot of places, but West Virginia has the most spectacular sunsets of all. I don't know if it's the humidity, cloud formations over the mountains or what, but the colors at sunset are unlike anything else I've seen elsewhere. Just about any day that the sun shines in West Virginia you will get a gorgeous sky. The next best sunsets I've seen are in Nevada.

John... that's true as long as you don't live down in a holler! No sunsets at if your view is blocked. Fortunately, I live on a ridge.
