More Frost


Here's another shot of frost on my car from the other day. The structure of the ice crystals is fascinating.

That's an intriguing photo and pub. jack is right. That almost looks like photos I saw back in college of what minerals look like under an electron microscope.

The camera is my tiny little Fuji F30. It's a pocket camera that I keep with me at times so I don't miss any shots. It has a great macro function.

How much magnification and cropping did you do from the original shot? Even in macro mode, I seem to lose a lot of detail if I try to zoom too much. I'd love to see the original, unedited shot.

Cool. Thanks. Can the F30 focus any closer than the F10? I still have to be about 3 inches away, and will lose some super fine detail like this one.
