I think I read somewhere where Kurt Cobain ranks right up there with Elvis Presley as one of the highest earning deceased people. That's a lot of lunch boxes! :-)
Well, that's just high-larious. A lot of us assume artists - especially OUR artists- create art solely from a creative impulse. We forget they're in it for the money, too. And rightly so.
Still, a lunchbox? I'm sure Mr. Cobain, if he were with us, would be all apologies.
Ironic that I happened upon this today. Yesterday while writing a very dull magazine column on cholesterol, for a family magazine, I thought I could hear--ever so faintly--Kurt Cobain. I thought I'd finally lost it when I tracked down the sound, which was coming through the radiator. Someone two offices down was listening to "Nevermind" on her headphones and had laid them on the radiator cover. Now I'd like to know the science behind that...

I loved the hard cover book that they made his diaries into. One weird collection of writings.

Cool ... I want one. I don't know what's more weird, that such a thing exists, or that it's in the fridge at some bank.
