I just sent Anthony (carbineblog) a message about how bummed I am about not being able to see any signs of Fall yet down here where I live in South Texas and how I wish I could visit a place where I could see and feel the signs of Fall. The color really isn't all that good here. I just found this one little pocket of good color up a holler. In general, the leaves are still pretty drab. Some years we just don't get that much.

I can't believe I missed the fall color when I was there! I'm glad you've captured it. That's almost as good as seeing it in person.
Oh well. Maybe next year I will get to see it.
