My guess, is that it's an engine, from the autoshow, in all it's chrome splendor.

I don't want to give it away, but I will say that I didn't shoot this at the auto show.

Part of the fire truck?

My first guess was also a motorcycle, probably because I went to Huntington WV for dinner & the book store and got caught in the traffic of the cycle show.

Ok, so it's not from the auto show... but, I still say it's an engine in it's chromatic glory. Motorcycle, Fire Engine, It matters not to me. It has the silver sheen of horsepower.

looks to me like something to do with Mylar, you know that metalic cellophane stuff they make balloons with?

I think it's a hubcap. Probably from the Firetruck.

My first thought was a fancy hub cap.

OK... Ms. Sheils pretty much got it but [cough, cough] she was there the day I shot it. It's the right side of a Yamaha cruiser-style motorcyle. I was surprised when I shot it how the parts all sort of ran together into unrecognizable parts. The swoopy thing on the right of the shot is the exhaust pipe. I do think it looks like a mylar balloon.

It's very unlikely that there will be more that you have foreknowledge of, so guess away! I have no idea when I'll come up with another Mystery Photo... those things are danged hard to find.

Ok, even if they are easy photos to guess (which this one wasn't, it was the bit of black and silver in straight bars in the upper left that gave it away for me), it's the fun of getting the comment in first. They don't have to be tough to be fun! Keep 'em coming!
