I was working at a local tv station today and I was quite amused to see that somebody has saved all of the law firm advertising magnets from all of their phone directories going back who knows how long and put them on a large steel door. It makes quite a display.

It's funny to me how successful these magnet things are. I get out and about to all kinds of businesses all over the state and I see those danged magnets on filing cabinets (and basically anything they'll stick to) all over the place in any kind of office or home all over the state. People just take them off the phone book and dutifully stick them on the fridge or the side of the desk or whatever.
