Get your goat

Yesterday I was driving home from a job and saw some deer... I elected to keep driving because it's so common to see deer in these parts... why bother? A few minutes later... here's something you don't see every day (around here). I assume these are domesticated goats, but they were just sitting on a very high ledge overlooking the Interstate. Check out the big guy in the back. Holy crap.

My god in heaven, that is an ENORMOUS goat! I keep looking at it and wondering if there could be some optical illusion, like maybe it had wandered in back of a giant, magnifying soap bubble.

After some very quick research, I'm guessing it might be a Boer goat. Bred for meat, the males can be 280-360 lbs. That's a honkin' goat. Here's a pic: http://www.nehbc.org/img_directory/bailie.html
That one looks stocky, though, and the one in your picture looks so *tall*. Maybe it's the angle.

Remember the goats in front are lying down. He could be standing on a rock or something back there. It is shot from a low angle so logically, he SHOULD look shorter than he really is. Hmmm.

Are you sure you live in WV? Looks like the west to me!
