It's not a tater tot. I'm leaving to go shoot a job so I probably won't be online all day. You guys post your guesses and I'll be back online around 6 or 7 pm. (EDT)

Looks like a sponge, but I can't explain the flecks of red. Unless, of course, Tuesday is dish washing day :-).

It's a whole grain bread slice.

Is it WV pepper jelly?

Hmmm, the bread proponents might be on to something. Does Panera have free wi-fi in Charleston?

Looks like the material used to represent the brain in Fantastic Voyage.

Robert Ding got it first and got it exactly right. It's a slice of whole grain bread. The trick is that it's lit from behind. I showed it to several people this morning (offline) and they all were completely stumped, so good on ya for that guess. BTW Robert, I looked at your blogsite and it's really interesting. I have vacationed in England several times so I'll be studying your walks for future reference. (see my pastel painting from England here.)

Rick, those pastels are stunning!

Thanks Kim! I was really getting into painting for a few years but I found that it was taking away from my photography... which is my bread and butter... so I backed away from it for a while. I'll do more sometime in the future.
