BTW.. this is a pretty good illustration of "magic hour" lighting. The hour before sunset (on a clear day) makes stuff look so much better. This scene shot at noon would be worthless.

Richad, the F100 got the exposure right. I also did a little bit of dodging afterward.
It has such a compelling, timeless quaility, as if a horsedrawn carriage could come around the corner.
