I used Photoshop to do one thing that makes this look fake. It's an extreme close-up so you could see lots of tiny little scratches on the surface of the fork. I selected the fork area and used the smudge tool to get rid of those imperfections. The lack of imperfections makes it look "too good" to be real.

Great capture of the elusive grilling fork. I hear it only surfaces in WV in the summer. I feel I must see if I go spy one in my yard......
