Sunrise over the Kanawha - Part 6

Here we go again. The sun came up nicely this morning. When I came out of the front door, there were some fantastic pink clouds but they disappeared before I could get a shot of them. But I got this on the way to work. Click here for more of these.

Lovely. Such depth! Made me sigh -- thank you.

Saw the wonderful pink sky this morning sitting at the kitchen table with my two kids. We watched it develop and spread across the sky. Beautiful. It changed so quickly only lasted about 5 minutes.

Now I'm homesick! How gorgeous that was.

Hey, Rick! Come to the Phipps Conservatory and see the Chihuly Glass Display. I took some pics and thought that you would have a great time there. Google Phipps Conservatory to check out how long it will be in town. They monitor the flow of guests, so get tickets on-line.

Hi Page... I suppose it's possible that I could get up that way. I'm not sure though. I saw a big Chihuly show in Columbus several years ago, so I'm not super motivated to see another, but if I were up that way I'd certainly try!

Rick,
I was in Virginia for three weeks for Christmas and the arrival of my lovely grandchild. Last Saturday I checked a couple of blogs from my daughter's workplace. Yours was one of them. The blue picture of the river and the sky you posted on Friday made me very homesick for my WV Hills and sky. I got home last night and this morning I found another beautiful photo. It was nice "seeing home" while I was away. Thank You.
