The shadow on the peach is very cool. I had to look at the peach I brought in for my mid-afternoon snack and it's got a shadow as well but not nearly as pronounced. I would not have pait it any attention if I hadn't seen your photo. Cool.
Thanks Robert. It's been a while since we've travelled overseas. We're thinking about going to London or Rome next year. Perhaps I'll get some good produce shots!
Hi Lori... great to hear from you. I'm a big fan of Greg at Sippican Cottage. Last year I was marvelling at his comment writing over at Althouse so I went to his site and got a look at his furniture which I think is fantastic.

A Green Power salute.
The top three photos are kind of sexy!

Heidi is right! I'll never look at a peach the same way again!
Rick, your usual brilliant produce photos. I was in a fishmarket in Southwest France last week. As I walked round I thought "Rick would love this".
They had such brilliant displays of fish, oysters, squid and mussels. Shame I didn't have my own camera with me.

Wow, I do a deep bow to The Peach Observation. Lovely finds, all.
And I found you through Sippican bloggery, a stop along a winding thread of blogs that began at The Festival of the Trees.
