Fun and interesting. My top two matches were Julie Andrews and Meryl Streep, both of whom are old enough to be my mother. Guess I need to find a better face cream.
It's screwy it says I look a bit like David Becham and erm Tony Blair - no darn that's it new camera is going back it's telling lies and camera's aren't meant to lie.
Yeah, the technology is suspect alright. In my case it seems like the software is saying "here are two portraits of white guys where the lighting is similar to yours". Everywhere I go, people always say "you look like so-and-so". I can walk into a 7-11 in some town I've never been to before and the clerk will insist that he knows me somewhere. I've always chalked it up to my average-white-guy looks. I look like a LOT of people. For years I've harbored a fear of being accused of some terrible crime. "That's him officer! I'm sure of it!" As for celebrities... 2 names have come up over the years as people I look like... Bob Costas and Harrison Ford. How's that for a contrast? And that's from people looking at me in person, not just a B&W photo. What do they have in common?
I've thought William Shatner before-- I agree with your similarly-lit theory.
I also have people constantly telling me that I remind them "so much of _____" (NEVER someone famous). I also apparently have an identical evil twin who works at a local hospital, because nearly a dozen people have asked me if I work there.. sadly, none of those folks knew her name, so I haven't looked her up yet.
Bob Costas--you do look like him a bit. Your voice, however, sounds almost exactly like the AP reporter Roger Alford.
My matches are weird. The first was Hillary Duff!! (funny) and the second was Meg Ryan (even funnier).
A get that "didn't you go to my high school/college..." a lot. I also occasionally get a comparison to the Food Network lady, Rachael Ray--who has dark brown hair and a husky voice. Go figure.

I'd go with Mel too - in fact - I'd go ANYwhere with Mel!
After I check out that site, I'll let you know if I resemble anyone I'd admit to!
I uploaded a photo of mr.kenju and me when we were dating, and it says we are Brad Pitt and Marianne Faithful/rita Hayworth......LOL
mr. kenju once won a Fabian look-alike contest, but in no way does he resemble Brad!
I tried this. It matched me with Anne McCaffrey, Spock and Uri Geller.
Yeah, my day is completely made.

You've always reminded me of Jim Kirk (William Shatner in his younger days).
I thought it was a neat site until my second best match was...
George W. Bush!?
No! No! No!
Happy New Year!
I got a broad range of results, from Christopher Reeve to John Travolta and, my favorite, Afghanistan president Hamid Karzai
Oh yeah... I've been trying to think who you remind me of... Hamid Karzai... that's it. Must be the hat.
I would go with the William Shatner (in his younger days, of course!) look. And Mel has fallen off my list of favorites in recent years.
Bottom line...this technology is suspect!
