The Old Tampa Bay Hotel

I went over to the University of Tampa to see the remains of the old Tampa Bay Hotel. A formerly grand hotel from the Victorian age. The weather was not good for architectural photography today. There was just a tiny window of blue sky when I shot the first photo above. I might go back for more later when I can get more dramatic lighting.

Visiting the Tampa Aquarium

The "hurricane" didn't really turn out to be much of a problem. It rained quite a bit today so we found some indoor entertainment at the aquarium.

The Peanut Shop of Huntington

We have one of these places in Charleston too. They are marvelous relics of days gone by. Planters used to franchise these places but they got out of the retail business long ago. Many of the stores survive though.

After the Storm #2 - On Fort Hill

We've had quite a few big thunderstorms and some really pretty skies afterward. I was out in the car when the sunset sky got really pretty. I drove up on Fort Hill in Charleston to get a better look.
