Studio Setup

I thought it might be interesting to show a complicated studio setup and the results. I used to do this type of thing a lot, but not so much now. It's fun to get back into it. These setups always end up looking completely chaotic because I start with a idea and just keep adding a light here and a light there and a composition element here and there. I'm always looking around the studio for something about the right height to set something on.

Anyway, here's the result.

You might recall I did some fun smoke photography last week. That gave me an idea to add smoke to this shot. I've hidden three sticks of incense in there.

Mystery photo for me. What exactly is that? A pump of some sort?

It's a device that controls the opening and closing of valves in settings such as chemical plants.

Thanks for sharing this with us. I don't do this professionally like you do, but I'm always interested in seeing how other people work.
