Amazing. I'm digging the purple hues on that...purple thing.

The first photo? Drapery on a lady's ball gown.

Grocery night and produce blogging, yesss! What better way to finish up the year?

Thanks, Rick, and great job, as always. This week's post seems to have a similar chromatic theme. Is a unifying element - other than the produce element - something you look for going into the produce aisle or something you discover afterwards?

Regardless, 66 Produce Blogging posts, and nary a repeat. Amazing!

Back to erotic vegetables. Three cheers!

Glory be to God for shapely protuberances and vivid colors.

Good to see produce blogging back.

I started to make some joke about it being vegetable erotica or cornography ... but thought that was too corny ... okay, I'll stop now.

Yeah... it does look like a purple ball gown doesn't it? I'm surprised nobody mentioned that #2 looks like brains.

Pete, I'd like to claim that I look for themes and unifying elements, but usually I'm just clamoring to get five decent shots. I like to post at least 4 or 5 on produce night.

Desert dust is right! Looks like a bustle on a Victorian ballgown.

When I first glanced at the cabbage (1st shot) I definitely was thinking a painting of a woman's gown... I found myself searching for her face and then realized it was grocery night.

Brilliant!
