... where it's not about the camera.
Next to last one is quite, shall we say, phallic..........
Yay! Grocery night! Thanks, Ri-Hey, what th- ?What Stacey said. What kind of produce is that?
What is that, Rick?
What? What are you guys talking about?? [snicker] Seriously... those are white asparagas spears. I blushed when I took that photo.
I don't think I'll ever look at white asparagus the same way ever again....
Mmmm... food porn! LOL!Where on earth did you find white asparagus?!?
Okay, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that.
Thanks for the asparagus picture! I have been having so much fun showing it around the office, making people blush before I tell them what it is! hehehe
So...I'm thinking its not a kosher grocery that you go to, is it?
So that's what we're calling them now..."Grocery" stores. Your secret is safe with me, *wink*wink*
"Where on earth did you find white asparagus?!?"Wal-Mart!
I am late getting tothe party......but I knew it was white asparagus.......and stacey beat me to the punch line.....LOL
I saw this before anyone commented on it and was too embarrassed to admit the next to last picture seemed a little risque. I can't tell you how relieved I am to see that everyone else thought the same thing!
Rick,Do you use any special lenses for your produce shots?
D.B.... most of the shots on the blog and 100% of the produce shots are taken with the Fuji F30. The F30 (and the F10 I used to use) has a great macro setting. Last year I got a call from somebody interested in fruit & vegetable photographs. This person had heard about the blog so she called me to talk about using some of my shots on a web site. During the course of the conversation it came out that I shot this stuff in the store while shopping. It was pretty funny to hear her reaction. "Wait a minute... you're not telling me you shoot this stuff in the store are you??"
