Yes, they are quite addictive. Fred said he didn't have anything like that when he was a kid... well, neither did I... but I don't let a little thing like age keep me from playing with toys. This set belongs to a nephew. He has added to his collection, but you never have enough of the posts and balls.
You can build geometric shapes with magnetic posts and balls.

I have these in the house and they are quite addictive I must tell you. They also don't look this good no matter how I construct them :)
