I already posted a photo of one of these as a mystery. I have a collection of old CPUs out of all the old computers in my life. If I'm chucking out an old motherboard, I make sure to pull the CPU out and add it to my collection.
Why do people collect anything? That's not an easy question to answer. CPUs... they are neat looking... they don't take up much space... they don't cost anything (after they have reached the end of their useful life), and (for a nerd) they are nostalgic.
