This was taken a few seconds after the other "Snowy Evening" shot from Wednesday.

Snowy Evening

I saw this when I went out to the street to get the mail. That's not a sunset... it's the wrong direction. I guess it's city lights bouncing off of clouds. I had to crank the ISO up way high to take this since I didn't have a tripod in my pocket. Thus the image is extremely grainy.

Winterplace

The last few days I've been working at Winterplace near Flattop, WV. They just keep adding facilities every year. It's turning into a really nice destination. Most of the people I meet there are from the Carolinas and Tennessee.

Making snow...

... at Winterplace... they move a lot of H2O.

Snowy Morning

It snowed yesterday... boy howdy... not that much accumulation, but I drove to Morgantown yesterday and I saw at least 10 accidents. I saw two of them happen. It was quite an adventure. Yesterday morning I thought I might get some good snow pictures, but there was no way I was stopping my car on the Interstate... too dangerous!

Trip to Martinsburg, Part 2

I pulled a couple of more shots out of the batch I took on the side of I-79 on the way to Martinsburg this week.

Trip to Martinsburg

I stopped on I-79 this morning to take some shots as the sun came up. I thought I was getting some stupendous stuff, but really I was in too big of a hurry and now that I look at it, most of it is crap. Here's a couple of decent photos.

Trees in the Frost, Part 2

It's warm now, but here's another shot from last week's snowfall.
