The Impressionists

At the Art Institute of Chicago. One of my favorite places. Click on the photo to get a better view.

I haven't been there since I was 14 and on a school trip.

They allow you to take pictures inside the gallery? Interesting.

The Art Inst is wonderful.

The Impressionist, American, and South Asian collections are super.

I think Chicagoans got rich too late to get much medieval and Ren. stuff.

DB... most of the big art museums allow photography as long as it's their own collections. Borrowed and traveling collections always prohibit that for some reason.

My favorite painting there. I love how as I was walking toward it, I felt as tough I were on the street.
