It looks like like some sort of gear, or maybe some sort of coin?
Got me stumped on this one. I'd say, a wild guess would be a rusty vegetable shredder. Can you say cole slaw with a side of tetanus?
Hint: I thought this might be difficult, because it's not an everyday item you'd have around the house. It's something.... uhhhh... old fashioned.
First thought: tire treads. Second guess: a design on a statue or piece of furniture
I can see metal...rust...sheesh, I don't know!

Congrats Geekwif! I'm pretty surprised that anybody guessed that. Here's another shot.
Darn. I almost said washboard (and it would have been first post, too!), but it looked too rough. That must be the side used for really dirty denim.
Woo hoo! I guessed one! :) It was the "old fashioned" clue that gave it away for me.
