Love this picture. Not sure how I stumbled on your blog, but I did.

Your photography is great. Do you have any pictures of the Peanut Shop? I grew up in Charleston (East End) and have been back many times in the last several years, and I'm always taken aback by the changes in the city. I still can't figure out why Capitol Street looks so narrow....of course, there is the whole "everything looks bigger when you were a kid" thing, but still....

Thanks Vicki... Capitol Street really IS pretty narrow. It's barely two lanes wide. But I agree with you, when I was a kid it sure didn't seem that way. Of course back then it was bustling with traffic and hoards of pedestrians. It's like a little village today.
