Wow. Did you know it was there or just happen to see it?

I've driven by there hundreds of times and thought about stopping to take a picture but rarely is the light good and there's power lines in the way, etc. This time I decided to stop and see what I could do because the late evening winter light was just so nice.

Very, very nice. That ought to be hanging in a museum somewhere. Found your blog several months ago and meant to chime in before now on how much I enjoy your work. The katydid is what caught me back in Sept and have been lurking every since.

Boy... you guys are making me wish I'd gotten the big camera out of the back of the car. I shot this with my pocket camera.

Kind of creepy to love a picture of a cemetery, but I do.

The picture has great composition - I like how the shadows spill down the hill... and if you're of a Christian tilt there's the whole 'trees waiting to be reborn' thing.
