I wasn't sure whether to accept "some kind of light fixture" but Pastor Jeff hit the nail on the head. It's a "can" light fixture in the ceiling. The trick is that it's in a room where radiologists would be reading x-rays so it has a special flood-type bulb that is filtered dark blue on the business end.
It is a very good mystery photo - a common object seen in an usual way. The reflection from the trim and oddly-colored bulb make it hard to identify, and the dark background removes context and perspective. Well done.

Rick: Was your UFO underwater when you took the of out the portal?
Not underwater.
So....where was it?
Hmmm... I guess we should make it a "Mystery Photo". I thought it would be more obvious.
Mystery Photo. My thought exactly when I first saw this but then I thought if I suggested it, I ought to make a guess. Which I can't.
Oh, all right, I'll give it a go: some kind of manufacturer's logo on a car.
I can't figure it out. I keep looking and looking but...arghhh! My guess is some sort of light fixture.
Hmmmm...
Some type of funky light fixture was my thought, too.
Is it a doorknob?
Goofy guess: Door peephole
Real guess: Can light in ceiling

Good one, Rick. I was really stumped but in a delightful way.

I know you couldn't help but take a photo of it since it had your favorite blue/gold combination of colors.
Now that I "see" the blue bulb, it's pretty clear. Cool.
It looks like a reflection of a lit pool but i really have no idea??
