I don't know how you manage to pull off some of these shots, Rick, with the available lighting but it's nothing short of pure magic. The red-veined leafy green thing is like an aerial view of some strange land.
Jerry... I think the peppers look good because the surface is somewhere in between matte and glossy... they are semi-matte or semi-glossy depending on how you look at it. But they do reflect light in a beautiful way.

The peppers always make good shots, something about the way the light hits them.
