A lot of people are nostalgic for the old days of Capitol Street when it was a hustling bustling center of retail. That it was, but all the old buildings had ugly fake fronts on them circa 50s and 60s... it was dirty and generally crummy looking. Now there's hardly any retail... there's a whole lot of genteel lawyers offices in beautifully restored Victorian fronts.
