After the Storm

We had quite a storm blow through today. As usual, the aftermath was photogenic.

Did you see the photos of the hail on my blog from the storm? Right at quarter size.. It has the be the largest I've ever seen.

I saw those pictures today, but I didn't realize the pictures were from today! I was inside and didn't realize how bad the storm was. My wife was out driving in it.

Love these photos.

The clouds in the NW of England are amazing. All that rain that I hate...at least does something right. They're so full they could burst. All the time. And they always look like they're touching the ground. Very War of the Worldsy.

Bad thing is...sometimes you don't see the sun for weeks.

These clouds were VERY low and very fast moving. It almost looked like time-lapse photography watching them move overhead.

I was driving down I-79 during that storm, and it was TERRIBLE. After it passed though, I enjoyed watching the clouds and the beautifully lit mountains. Strange how such a fierce storm can bring about such beauty.
