Portrait Tests

I've been taking pictures of friends in order to test out new portrait lighting schemes. I don't shoot much of this kind of thing in my work, so it's interesting for me to try new stuff.

Sticky Wheels

I distinctly remember the first time I saw a skateboard with urethane wheels. I was a photography student in North Carolina in the 70s. Who would have thought at that time that someday I'd be in the factory where the inventors of urethane wheels were still turning out product. My life is fun.

Taylor Books at Lunchtime

I've been experimenting with time-lapse photography. Here's a fun little example I did on the spur of the moment. This represents about an hour and a half in one minute. Shot on a Nikon D200 camera with a 10mm fisheye.
