The view from our room

New York Public Library... with lights...

... walking past the New York Public Library on 5th Avenue this evening... it was all lit up with candles for some sort of reception. There was also special red lighting inside. Cool! We saw a bridal party getting out of limos. Perhaps I was jumping to conclusions, but how rich do you have to be to have your wedding reception in there? BTW... this was shot with my little Fuji pocket camera sitting on a sign in place of a tripod. Click on the photo for a better view.

Evening mist on Hunters Ridge

I stopped at the top of the hill this evening to shoot the sunset. There was no sunset but a cool mist settled into the valley below.
