UPDATE 3: OK, many people said they liked the bicycle shot because of the cool color-balance. I can understand that, so here's another version of the latest shot with the color-balance shifted.
UPDATE 2: Here's yet another stab at an HDR Capitol Street in the snow. It's snowing like crazy so I'm taking advantage of it. I SHOULD be going home before it gets too bad to drive, but no, I'm at the office doing this. I'm an idiot. BTW, this version is bigger than usual so click on it to see the large size.
Update: I went out tonight to redo this shot with a good DSLR (Nikon D300s) and do an HDR version. Last night's photo was taken with my tiny little pocket camera, the Fuji F100. Well, it's a mixed bag... the photo has more detail and all but the bike wasn't there and the snow had mostly been cleared away. Ehh.

Very pretty, but keep it up there, please!
Ditto to what kenju said.
Beautiful. What a wonderful eye you have, Rick.
Very nice shot Rick
Brrrrrr...
I like the 2nd shot better, except for the dirty snow. The bike being gone is fine. The color emanating from Lowenstein's is lovely!
The color balance of the second shot is way better, but the bike in No. 1 adds interest to the foreground.
There's always Photoshop.
First HDR of a night shot in snow I've seen. Nicely done, even if the composition isn't what you first had.
So beautiful.
I like the first shot better. I agree about the bicycle giving the picture interest but I like the color balance better, too. The second one seems to warm for such a chilly scene.
I like the color balance shift so now I'm torn between which is my favorite. Can I say both?
Now, if you could only somehow work some produce into the shot. . . That'd be perfect. ;=)
Yeah, think I like the cool color balance better as well...looks more wintry. All are great though.
I've just got to add an ooh and an ahh, especially for that last shot, pre-shift. Just breathtaking.
Where is Josef Albers? I am color theory challenged and my brain is fried.
Nice pix, though.
