Glad you got a shot of this bridge, Rick. I remember walking on it a few years back on that trip I mentioned in that comment a few posts below. Interesting in that this bridge was built by the same firm that would do the Brooklyn Bridge, using many of the same techniques. It's like a small-scale version of the bigger one.
I saw that name Roebling and I wondered if it was the same family. I remembered it from that PBS documentary about the Brooklyn Bridge.... the first one by Ken Burns. I highly recommend that documentary to anyone who hasn't seen it.
I love this shot! The compressed depth of field is spectacular. I love the red of the guys shirt against the light blue - really awesome contrast. I really just love everything about this photo.
