Judy... It's not exactly a blue sky I don't think. I think it's a grey overcast sky which just looks blue because it's early morning... the same thing happens at dusk, the cloudy sky will appear blue.
Eric, yes, it was the colors rather than the subject matter that attracted me to shoot that scene.

Yes, it was taken with my pocket Fuji. The vertical lines were straightened up in Photoshop.
