The funny thing about this shot is that I had stopped beside the Interstate to shoot some pictures of trees. I was looking through the telephoto lens when this hawk just flew right into my frame! No kidding. I followed him for a minute keeping my focus spot on him just shooting away until he disappeared over the hill.

Secondly, you didn't have to; but thanks for sharing how you got it. I have chased hawks for months with only silhouettes to show for it!

The tree colors are very nice by the way.
