Did I play with it? Always! Always! Color balance in subjective. When you shoot a digital photo, you make a series of creative decisions, one of which is setting the color balance. I usually try various settings to see which one looks best to me. I care not about which is the "correct" setting. It might be full sunlight but does that mean I'm locked into using only the "sun" setting? Of course not. Sometimes the "shade" or even the "flourescent" setting will give a more interesting result.
