Well, I just can't get away from it. Everywhere I go, there it is, the John Amos Power Plant. Recapping the story thus far... I've posted several
photos of the plant here on the blog... I saw
this in New York City.... and then I saw
this again near Poca, WV. The photo above was taken a couple of days ago in the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.

It's like some kind of dream, isn't it Rick? Too bizarre. I guess a good image is a good image, no matter where you go.
Interesting post.
Is that the actual JA plant or just one that looks like it?
My Dad was deployed to the Middle East and went to a photo shop in Dubai to get his picture taken in a burnoose for me and my brother (we were kids at the time.) One of the photo backdrops they had was the Grist Mill at Babcock.
I once walked into a motel in some godforsaken location in Tennessee and there on the lobby wall was a giant wallpaper photo of the Babcock Gristmill. It's everywhere. Up in Gloucester, MA there's a dock scene they call "Motif Number One" because it has been painted so many times. This must surely be number 2.
Yes, it really is the John Amos Power Plant. Click on the "this again" link in my post to see how I checked it out.
Oops... I meant Rockport, MA, not Gloucester.
Motif #1 Gloucester's only a few miles away, you get a pass.
Great pictures every day, Rick!
