I will keep looking at it today.

  4. Is it a wheel of some sort on a model?

  5. Ah, mystery photo. You have us all stumped. When you tell us will we go "ah -ha"? My first guess was something on a drafting table, but I think what I thought was wood is metal. I vote industrial something :)

  6. For some reason, I'm thinking the wheel is about 8 or 10 inches across. That it's not little. Which leads me to a complete and random stab in the dark. Is it the edge of a booth in a restaurant? Where 17 is the number of the booth on the left? And, the wheel is just decorative?

  7. Carletta is very warm.

  8. Okay, if Carletta is warm I'd say it's a tension wheel on a drafting table. You loosen it to adjust the angle of the table then tighten it again when you get it where you want it.

  9. It's a little hard to explain, so here's a photo of the thing in context. The copper-orange color and the purity of the form of the thing just caught my eye.
