Hey, the local children's theatre (First Stage Theatre Co.) is staging "High School Musical" on that stage this weekend! (As the director, I couldn't resist the chance at a free plug.) But the theatre is amazing - a real gem!
Plug away! I noticed they had Peter Pan in there last week. I love seeing that the theater is being used for live performances. It was built as a vaudeville theater. I looked up the web site for the theater and they have an interesting history there. I thought it was interesting that the "Albee" name comes from the famous Edward Albee who was one of the owners of this and other vaudeville theaters.
That place is amazing, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteGood shot, by the way. :)
ReplyDeleteWOW~! I had not thought of that place in years! I was there once, in 1961 or 2.
ReplyDeleteI guess "normal" is a relative term, but I like to think I sould say "Wow!" every time I walked in. Probably not, I guess.
