The Drake Hotel in Chicago is a grand old hotel... I like it a lot except that the Internet blows. We have Ethernet in the room as well as Wi-Fi but it so slow it's like dial-up. It's been driving me crazy for days.
Good internet is an important factor in rating a hotel these days!! The last one we stayed in was supposed to have wi-fi in all the rooms but we had to sit in the hallway to get a signal. I felt like an idiot! But certainly the lobby looked nothing like this lobby!! That is gorgeous.
Ooooooooh! I'd be tempted just to hang out in that sumptuous lobby all day.

The Internet may stink, but the conference facilities are great.
