It's been a long time since I've done a barber shop post. This is the Shear Cut on Fife Street... home of many useless collectibles. I quit doing these because I was repeating myself. But it's been about a year so here's another one.
I don't get tired of these, Rick. Someday I will make it into that place. When I was there about 2 yrs. ago, it was closed for vacation. I was so disappointed!
Love the shots from this place -

ReplyDeleteJust a random little factoid, the Marilyn Monroe playboy is worth a ridiculous amount of money. Something I'm sure you were dying to know ;-)
ReplyDeleteThat's not the original Playboy #1, that's a recent issue.
ReplyDeleteI have that Super Bowl XXV card set.
ReplyDeleteI'll bet no one owns up to using the hairpiece tape, though. Interesting post.
ReplyDeletegosh, i've been looking for a marsh wheeling stogies box for years. i'm very jealous of this collection.
ReplyDeleteI figure that John would sell you that box if you wanted it. Just get the phone number for "Shear Cut" in Charleston, WV and ask him.
