While I was waiting in line at the traffic light before crossing the South Side Bridge this morning, I noticed a dramatic sunrise taking place. I got my camera out and got off a few shots.
I was heading west on East Washington Street and saw this in my rear view mirror. The capitol dome was surrounded by the glowing clouds. My first thought: "I wish I had a camera." Second thought: "I hope Rick sees this!"
Great shot Rick. You have such a knack for capturing the beauty of Charleston and WV. This morning I was taking my son to school and there was a beautiful rainbow. We stopped and enjoyed it.
GORGEOUS! Those clouds are wonderful.

ReplyDeleteThanks... I'm glad I shot it when I did because those clouds cleared up in a hurry.
ReplyDeleteYou should attach a wave file that plays "Also Sprach Zarathustra" with that image.
ReplyDeleteVery nice

ReplyDeleteBob.. yep, I got a few rainbow pictures. I haven't looked at them yet so I don't know how good they are. I'll probably post something.
