It's a half-full water bottle (Deer Park to be exact) sitting on a magazine.
I thought it was half empty.
Oh, I really did think it was empty - but I am glad I guessed what it was.
My first thought was swirling caramel........
Wait, there's an eye under there...doh...someone looking through a glass?
Took me a while to figure out where "swirling caramel" came from but now I see it!
